Job Openings in the Department of Comparative Studies

The Ohio State University, Department of Comparative Studies, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible position at the rank of assistant professor in global studies of culture, science and technology, beginning autumn 2008. Research and teaching interests should complement those of existing faculty.

Comparative Studies is an interdisciplinary, tenure-granting department in the College of Humanities with 20 core faculty and more than 50 associated faculty. The department offers a Ph.D., an M.A., and a B.A. that includes concentrations in comparative cultural studies, comparative ethnic and American studies, comparative literature, folklore, religious studies, and science studies.
