John Bowen, "How and Why Islamic Institutions Differ Across Western Europe"

Professor John Bowen will deliver the fifth and final lecture in the 2014-2015 University Lectures on Religion series. He is Dunbar-Van Cleve Professor in Arts and Sciences and Sociocultural Anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis. His lecture, like all others in the Center for the Study of Religion-sponsored series, is free and open to all. There will be a brief question-and-answer session and a reception following the lecture.
