March 11, 2025
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen (320 W. Center St., Marion, OH)

In collaboration with OSU Marion and Bucci's Italian Scratch Kitchen

There are 426 licensed wine manufacturers and over 175 vineyards throughout the state of Ohio. But what does it mean to produce and consume Ohio wine? Every year, winegrowers have to respond to a wide range of changes and sustainability challenges. This presentation will draw from Ohio Wines Ambassador Mark Anthony Arceño's experience talking with winegrowers in Ohio about how they adapt to these changes. Together, we will discuss how they - and those of us who consume their wine - co-construct the "taste of place" year after year.

This event is free and open to the public, with a buffet option available for purchase.

For those who are unable to attend in person, please find the Zoom link here.
