Peggy Reynolds is an artist/philosopher whose work explores issues related to posthumanism, affect, and mediology. Since receiving her Ph.D. from the Department of Comparative Studies, she has split her time between London, where she was a research fellow at Goldsmiths in the Media, Communications Department’s Topological Research Unit, and New York City where she is a member of New York University’s Posthumanist Research Group and owns and operates a design/builds firm. She has been an invited speaker and workshop organizer in cities such as Boston, New York, London, Madrid, Rome, and Beijing, and most recently authored an article on the subject of ‘scale’ published in the journal, K[]onesh, the print component of a migrating platform for critical and creative spatial practices. She continues to work on her book, The Evolution of Reason: The Matter of the Grid, and on her interactive sculptures from her cabin in the Catskill Mountains.
