Dr. Maurice Stevens’s is a mentor in the University Institute for Teaching and Learning’s Faculty FIT: Foundation, Impact, Transformation program.

"The Faculty FIT program, within the University Institute for Teaching & Learning, is a set of coordinated learning experiences for new/developing teachers and their mentors at The Ohio State University. The year-long programming focuses on active support for instructional faculty at differing levels of experience, and particularly strives to engage faculty new to Ohio State. Each faculty participant has the opportunity to complete a customized “health and wellness” approach to instructional development that is intended to support those new to their roles, as well as promote career-long efforts to cultivate expertise and continually achieve success in teaching and learning. We believe this approach will help individuals as they establish their place (or “fit”) at the University, as well as support and advance our campus culture of teaching excellence." 

In recognition of their contribution to this new and important program, $1000 will be transferred to the department. They may use these spending funds for personal professional development or for any mentor related activities. Congratulations, Maurice!
