Dorothy Noyes

Professor Dorry Noyes recently published an article entitled "Heritage, Legacy, Zombie: How to Bury the Undead Past" in Cultural Heritage in Transit: Intangible Rights as Human Rights, edited by Deborah Kapchan. The article takes examples from Afghanistan, Northern Ireland, and Appalachia to show how culture concepts are used to manage troublesome populations.
