On December 16, 2021, Dr. Amy Gregg of the Department of Comparative Studies at Ohio State (Newark) was named one of 21 Affordable Learning Exchange (ALX) grant recipients. The program is designed to save students over $80,000 by supporting affordability and racial justice projects at the Columbus, Lima, and Newark Campuses. With this grant, Gregg plans on using the funds to create additional units in the course that cover the injustices that marginalized groups, such as people of color and the LGBTQ+ community, face.
