Steve Paulson's interview with Comparative Studies Professor Hugh Urban will air on September 30.  Professor Urban has recently published The Church of Scientology:  A History of a New Religion  (Princeton University Press, 2011).  Listen to his interview with Paulson on Public Radio's To the Best of Our Knowledge.  Professor Urban has authored a number of books and articles on the issue of secrecy in religious traditions, on the religions of India, and on new and emerging religions.  His newest book, tentatively titled Secrecy: The Adornment of Silence, the Vestment of Power: Comparative Studies in Esoteric Religions is under contract at the University of Chicago Press.
