Professor Katey Borland Wins The Ronald and Deborah Ratner Distinguished Teaching Award in the Division of Arts and Humanities

Borland Winning Ratner Award

Associate Professor Katey Borland was named today as one of the inaugural winners of the Ratner Teaching Awards.  

The Ratner Award recognizes faculty for developing new courses, original materials, and/or innovative methods and venues for delivery, as well as for making a difference in students’ educations, lives, and careers. Candidates were selected based on their creative teaching and for exemplary records of engaging, motivating, and inspiring students. The award comes with a one-time $10,000 payment to the faculty member and the establishment of a $10,000 teaching support account for the winner to draw on.
