Nancy Jesser is interested in the intersections of science, culture and power, especially related to technologies of the body and ecologies. She has written several articles on science fiction and fantasy by women, the US Rape Crisis Center Movement and feminist theories of power, including an anthologized article on Toni Morrison, "Violence, Home, and Community in Toni Morrison's Beloved." Her current research is on the "wild foods" movement, foraging in contemporary societies, and technology and food.
