Koray Sackan is a PhD student in the Department of Comparative Studies at The Ohio State University. He received his BA in English Literature and MA in Turkish Literature from Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey). His research interests include rhetorical narratology, metafiction, and twentieth-century Turkish and Greek literature. He published a book chapter titled “The Narrative of the 1923 Population Exchange through Karamanli Refugee Poetry” in the volume Literary and Cultural Crossroads in the Late Ottoman Empire (2024). In 2023, he was awarded a Fulbright PhD Scholarship to study in the United States.
